As Florida Property Tax Relief Heads To Voters, Orange County Seeks Feedback On Proposed Stormwater Fee Reaching Up To $223.08 Per Year

Orange County residents will have an opportunity to learn more about a proposed stormwater utility fee during an upcoming community meeting in District 1, as Florida voters prepare to consider a separate statewide property tax relief measure later this year.

The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 17, 2026, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the West Orange Recreation Center in Winter Garden. The Orange County Public Works team is expected to discuss the ongoing stormwater utility fee study, answer questions, and collect public input before future decisions are made by the Board of County Commissioners.

For residents unable to attend the meeting, Orange County is also collecting feedback through a Stormwater Community Feedback Survey.
