Nine Members Of Central Florida Drug Ring Sentenced To Federal Prison

A federal judge has sentenced the final member of a local drug trafficking organization known as the “6’s,” concluding a multi-agency operation that dismantled the group’s narcotics and money laundering pipeline in Central Florida.

U.S. District Judge Carlos E. Mendoza handed down the sentences after all nine defendants pleaded guilty to federal charges. U.S. Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe announced the final sentencing Wednesday following the conclusion of the court proceedings.

The ring’s leader, Jonnathan Enrique Perez-Colon, 38, of Davenport, received 25 years in federal prison for drug trafficking conspiracy, possession of firearms in furtherance of drug trafficking, and conspiracy to commit money laundering…
