Pedestrian struck, killed by multiple vehicles on Apopka Vineland Road in Orange County, FHP says

ORLANDO, Fla. – Florida Highway Patrol is searching for a hit-and-run driver after they said a 76-year-old Orlando man was struck and killed by multiple vehicles.

The crash happened just after 6 a.m. Monday on S. Apopka Vineland Road near Palm Parkway.

According to an FHP report, the pedestrian was walking westbound and entered the southbound lanes of S. Apopka Vineland outside of a marked crosswalk. A 2015 Nissan Altima, driven by a 57-year-old Orlando man, struck the pedestrian with its front right side…
