Sanford native killed on 9/11 remembered in Seminole County ceremony

SANFORD, Fla. — Leaders from Sanford and Seminole County gathered Friday morning at Veterans Memorial Park in Sanford for a Patriot Day ceremony marking 25 years since the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

The ceremony honored those who responded to the attacks and the nearly 3,000 people who died, including Mannie Clark, a Sanford native who was working in the World Trade Center’s north tower.
