SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. (WDNews) — The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office says all Flock cameras associated with the agency are no longer operating, while crews continue removing the equipment from county roads.
According to the sheriff’s office, Sheriff Dennis Lemma and Seminole County Commission Chairman Andria Herr issued a joint statement Aug. 31 announcing the suspension of the agency’s use of the Flock camera network.
On Sept. 1, the sheriff’s office formally notified Flock of the decision and directed the company to deactivate the network and begin removing all cameras deployed for the agency, including cameras along state and county roads…
