CFX to move forward with Split Oak Forest toll road despite legal opposition

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The Central Florida Expressway Authority is moving forward with plans for a new toll road that would cut through part of Split Oak Forest in Osceola County, despite a legal challenge from Orange County and public opposition.

The project, known as State Road 534, would run 14 miles from State Road 417 near Boggy Creek Road in Orange County to Nova Road in Osceola County.
