ORLANDO, Fla. – An Orlando hotel could be converted into new affordable housing, according to a project proposal. The proposal, submitted last month, suggests turning the Best Western hotel at 2014 W. Colonial Drive into 110 units for low-income, affordable housing “in a location where such housing is sorely needed.”
