Apopka police search for driver in hit-and-run that left man critically injured

APOPKA, Fla. – Police in Apopka are searching for the driver of a white Ford pickup truck accused of hitting a pedestrian and fleeing the scene, leaving the victim critically injured.

The crash happened April 26 near the intersection of Orange Blossom Trail and Bradshaw Road, according to investigators. Authorities said the 43-year-old man was struck while attempting to cross the roadway.
