‘Our hearts go out’: Prosecutor offers condolences for victims of deceased interstate shooter

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Days after law enforcement found the body of a man charged in a series of highway shootings, the Jackson County prosecutor shared her thoughts and feelings for the victims and their families.

Oscar Sanchez-Munoz was wanted in connection with multiple shootings along I-70 and I-670 from Tuesday, June 16. Detectives also believed 22-year-old Sanchez-Munoz was responsible for a deadly shooting and crash at Truman Road and Bennington Avenue.
