Kansas City man pleads guilty to running dog fighting operation

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A Kansas City man pleaded guilty in federal court Tuesday to illegal gun possession and multiple charges related to a dog-fighting operation.

Federal court documents say 52-year-old Vinol Wilson entered a guilty plea for illegally possessing a firearm, conspiring to violate the federal Animal Welfare Act’s animal fighting law, keeping a dog for use in dog fighting, and buying and receiving a dog to use in a dogfighting venture.
