KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – People across the country are raising a glass to their favorite dive bars on June 7, in honor of National Dive Bar Day.
Yelp published an updated list of the best dive bars in Kansas City in honor of the day. Here are the top four recommended by Yelp:
Zoo Bar

Zoo Bar is known for its laid-back and authentic atmosphere. It uses local art and posters from past decades to add character, according to customers. They also say it has a wide selection of beers on tap and a well-curated drink menu.
Hi-Dive Lounge

If you’re looking for good beer and good food, Hi-Dive Lounge is a place to check out sometime.
It’s known for its mystery beer vending machine (iykyk) that shoots out random beers for $3 a can.
The House
- 2707 W. 47th St., Westwood, Kan.
The House is the epitome of a neighborhood bar that delivers fun vibes.
If you like Lulu’s, head next door to the tiny blue house to grab a beer or a cocktail. The House also serves street food.
