The city of Olathe approved its budget for the 2027 fiscal year that will keep the tax rate the same, but ultimately collect more in property taxes as the city faces mounting expenses.
As the tax rate and mill levy remain flat, Olathe residents’ tax bills could increase if their property valuation goes up.
