KC cousins looking to rally fans on gameday with new Chiefs track

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A family of Chiefs fans has made a new song, “Kansas City Anthem”, which they hope will rally Chiefs fans on gamedays in the metro and across the nation.

Ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals, the artists were filming their music video in the parking lot of Arrowhead Stadium.

Gio Franklin, Tra Neez and SayberNspace are all from Kansas City and are all Chiefs fans.

“I’m a fan first,” said Franklin.

“We wanted to make something new, something fresh for the fans, some fun for the kids. You know, something that the crowd can sing along to.”

For Neez, having the opportunity to be creative with his family is what’s most important.

“It’s a blessing,” he said.

“I get to create with my family and create a masterpiece, something that I feel like has a longevity with the Chiefs.”

SayberNspace said, “I want it to be a Kansas City anthem. Like Tech N9ne with Red Kingdom.”

Chiefs fans have enjoyed Tech N9ne’s “Red Kingdom”, another song made about the KC football team since 2019. The song has 14 million views on YouTube.
