Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs star tight end, hasn’t had his typical season in 2024, with just 28 catches for 245 yards and no touchdowns so far.
Despite the Chiefs holding a perfect 6-0 record, Kelce and quarterback Patrick Mahomes have yet to fully click on the field. Mahomes, who has thrown for 1,389 yards, six touchdowns, and eight interceptions this season, is leading a team that has faced challenges in the passing game.
However, that didn’t stop Kelce from taking a playful jab at Mahomes during the latest episode of the “ New Heights ” podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother, Jason Kelce.
On the show, Travis Kelce humorously roasted Mahomes’ unique playing style, particularly his unorthodox running technique, comparing it to an unusual meme.
“Pat runs like he doesn’t have any knees,” Kelce said with a laugh. “There’s a meme online right now of an ostrich from a dog, just like weaving in and out. I mean, that’s Pat Mahomes. A little top-heavy with the skinny legs.”
