Johnson County adds ambulances, staffing to address surge in emergency calls

OLATHE, Kan. (KCTV) – A push to help lower response times in Johnson County is now on the streets.

As of April 12, MED-ACT ambulance service has three ambulances available 12 hours a day, seven days a week. A previous contract only paid for three ambulances eight hours a day, five days a week.
