Country star will return to Kansas City for first time in 4 years

The dry spell for country star Kacey Musgraves may be ongoing, but she’s ending a four-year drought of performing in Kansas City.

“Middle of Nowhere” is the name of her new album releasing Friday, May 1, but it’s also the name of the tour she’s embarking on. She’ll play 30 dates across some of the biggest cities in the United States, including a Wednesday, Sept. 23, stop at T-Mobile Center in KC.

It’s the first appearance by the Golden, Texas, native in Kansas City since 2022, when she also played at T-Mobile Center as a part of a limited 15-city tour titled “star-crossed: unveiled.”…
