Lane closure on N 9th Avenue continues as ECUA upgrades pipes after overflow

PENSACOLA, Fla. — Last month, nearly 40,000 gallons of sewage overflowed into a retention drain near the Visitor’s Center in Pensacola.

Emerald Coast Utilities Authority says this was a sizeable overflow, but it was all contained into a marsh area — not impacting Pensacola Bay.
