Ascension Sacred Heart sets free summer safety training for hospitality workers

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital will be hosting the first Summer Safe Pensacola Series, in collaboration with Visit Pensacola, to provide free life-saving training skills to hospitality workers in Escambia County.

The first event will be Tuesday, June 16, at the Holiday Inn Resort on Pensacola Beach. A morning session will be held from 9 a.m. until noon, followed by an afternoon session from 2 to 5 p.m.

The training will cover several areas, including hands-only CPR, bleeding control, and water safety.
