NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A New Orleans man popped the question to his girlfriend but said Crocs shoes “accidentally photobombed” his engagement photo.
WGNO producer Christian McGary was in Pensacola, Florida, on the beach when he proposed to his girlfriend of five years, Brandi Billingsley.
McGary created a book of poems for Billingsley, and as she was reading the book, he lovingly asked her to marry him.
But one moment, that’s making all his friends and family laugh, is in their engagement photo, you see a Crocs shoe. So, it looks like he proposed while wearing Crocs, but in actuality, the shoe just happened to be sitting on the beach.

“I used one of her Crocs to prop up the phone to record the engagement, but I forgot about the other Croc, so it looks like I was wearing the other Croc when I got down on one knee. In the photo the Croc is actually backwards. Everything was perfect, besides the Croc photobomb,” McGary said…
