PENSACOLA, Fla. (WFLA) — A puppy that was rescued from a neglectful situation has a new lease on life as a K-9 serving and protecting the people of Pensacola.

K-9 Redden, whose name is Dutch for “to rescue” or “to save,” was taken in by the Pensacola Police Department in August 2025.
