PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — A Pensacola man, previously convicted of felonies, has been indicted on federal drug and gun charges.

According to a Department of Justice news release, 39-year-old Lavon Trinere Mars has been indicted on one count of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute more than 50 grams of a methamphetamine and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Mars is set to go to trial Nov. 16. He faces a minimum mandatory sentence of 10 years in prison up to life on the drug conspiracy charge and up to 15 years in prison on the firearm charge…
