ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — A four-legged Escambia County Sheriff’s Office deputy has been named Florida’s Top Dog.

K9 Rigby won the K9 March Madness Competition that was held by the Florida Sheriffs Association.

According to Escambia County Sheriff Chip Simmons, K9 Rigby competed against other K9s from around the state, ultimately making it to the Final Four and championship round.
