PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA) -A tiny home village for senior citizens has officially opened in Pensacola, nearly two years after the Catholic Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee broke ground on the project.
Trinity Village is a nine-home community specifically for senior citizens who are having trouble finding affordable housing.
“One thing that really surprised me was a lot of the homeless population are senior citizens, people over the age of 60,” said Deacon Ray Aguado of the Catholic Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee.
