PENSACOLA, FL — Will Morin and Kent Simmons are bringing Lenny’s Grill & Subs back to Pensacola with their first franchise location for the brand at 96 E. Garden St., Pensacola, FL 32502. The restaurant is targeting an end of June or first week of July opening, Morin told Business Debut.
What to Expect
Lenny’s Grill & Subs is a neighborhood sub shop focused on fresh-sliced meats, cheesesteaks, hot subs, cold subs, salads and wraps, Morin told Business Debut. The brand was founded in 1998 by Len Moore, who wanted to create a place where guests could get good food, good quality and be treated right, Morin told Business Debut.
The downtown Pensacola restaurant will offer several ordering options, including a pickup window in front of the store, a digital kiosk inside and traditional counter service where guests can order with an associate, Morin told Business Debut. Morin said the team wants to create a customer-first environment where regular guests feel recognized when they come in.
Morin said he and Simmons wanted to bring Lenny’s back to Pensacola after a previous location closed years ago. They chose downtown Pensacola because of the area’s growth and the need for a quick sandwich option among the district’s sit-down restaurants, Morin told Business Debut.
