Abington man honored for bravely confronting armed intruder, protecting mother

PLYMOUTH — For his bravery in confronting an armed intruder who followed his mother home from a casino and tried to rob her at gunpoint, an Abington Township man received a commendation from Montgomery County’s top law enforcement officer.

Aaron Scott was presented a commendation for exceptional service from District Attorney Kevin R. Steele during a ceremony at the county’s Public Safety Training Campus in Plymouth Township.
