New Jersey man sentenced for stealing perfume, government laptops, and liquor from semi trailers at warehouses

A man was sentenced to prison for conspiring to burglarize trailers at logistics warehouses in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

On June 1, 2026, Derek Spivey, 38, was sentenced to 48 months in prison for conspiring to transport stolen goods, and an additional 8 months for violating his supervised release, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey.
