Gloucester City, N.J. — A South Jersey teenager is facing charges after he allegedly tried to steal a vehicle late last week.
The Gloucester City Police Department says at about 11:00 last Friday, its officers were dispatched to the 100 block of North King Street for a report of an attempted motor vehicle theft.
At the scene, officers met with the victim who said that while inside a nearby building, his vehicle’s anti-theft alarm was activated. When he went outside, he saw the rear driver’s-side window had been smashed, and an unknown male was sitting in the driver’s seat. The victim confronted the suspect, who fled on foot…
