Philadelphia is continuing to clean up widespread storm damage after Saturday’s severe weather, with city officials saying they have received nearly 500 calls about downed trees and other issues.
Officials said crews are prioritizing clearing roadways to restore access across the city. To help speed the cleanup, the city has hired contractors to remove trees blocking sidewalks, parks and other areas while city crews focus on reopening streets.
