Effective Aug. 1, Neil Burti is to begin his term as Mount Laurel Public Schools new superintendent.
Burti was approved as the new superintendent after a special meeting held by the Mount Laurel Board of Education officials June 1. He currently serves as the director of secondary education in the Cherry Hill School District and has been in the for the South Jersey district for 25 years.
