A 32-year-old man was killed early Friday when the Kia SUV he was driving crashed at high speed on the 9400 block of Frankford Avenue in Torresdale, police said.
The crash occurred shortly before 1 a.m. Police said the driver, identified as Ziyodillo Tursunpulatov, lost control of the vehicle and struck utility poles and a parked car. The force of the impact ejected the SUV’s engine onto the street. Tursunpulatov was found in the backseat of the SUV despite being the driver, indicating the severity of the collision.
