Philadelphia’s Chinatown Grocer Brings Asian Imports and Fresh Seafood to Cherry Hill

Cherry Hill’s Route 70 corridor gained a major new grocery option this week, as Asianfresh Food Market began a soft opening on Sept. 3 at 2005 Route 70 East, according to NJ.com. The store marks the company’s first location in New Jersey and second overall, expanding from its flagship on North 10th Street in Philadelphia’s Chinatown.

A grand opening celebration is scheduled for Sept. 12 at 11 a.m. The Philadelphia Inquirer, reporting on the expansion before the soft opening, noted that spokesperson Karen Louie said the event will include giveaways and contests, with details still being finalized at that time.

What Shoppers Will Find Inside

The store occupies a large retail unit in a shopping center previously anchored by Oscar Huber Furniture and, decades earlier, developed as a Clover discount store.
