Lakers’ LeBron James Reacts to Joel Embiid’s Historic Night

The NBA world is on fire, as Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid just put up a whopping 70 points against the San Antonio Spurs.

The reigning MVP added 18 rebounds and 5 assists en route to one of the most impressive single games in NBA history, annihilating unicorn rookie talent Victor Wembanyama in the process.

LeBron James recently spoke on Embiid’s historic night:

James acknowledged one of the league’s best players through a recent tweet, crediting him for his unbelievable night.

For Embiid, this is a career-high, and it actually surpasses LeBron’s career high (61) by a fairly wide margin. He’s now most definitely the odds-on favorite to win back-to-back MVPs, averaging 35 points per game to go along with 11 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 blocks.

Philadelphia will visit the Lakers on March 22nd, which will be the second of two matchups on the year between two of the more storied franchises in league history.
