Fans of what has, perhaps, become the NFL’s most popular family are loving the nickname that Travis Kelce gifted his sister-in-law Kylie .
“Princess Kyana” is a nickname that first popped up for Jason Kelce’s wife last November during an episode of New Heights , the podcast that the Philadelphia Eagles center and Travis host together. As reported by Today , the nickname has continued to generate fan interest on social media over the last few months.
At the time, Travis, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, first jokingly uttered the nickname, the brothers were discussing a special Philadelphia Eagles varsity jacket that Kylie had signed and modeled . The jacket was inspired by a similar Eagles jacket that Princess Diana was once photographed wearing.
The Eagles Autism Foundation was in the process of auctioning off the newer version modeled by Kylie as the brothers discussed it on New Heights .
In an apparent attempt to merge Princess Diana’s name with Kylie’s, Travis first referred to his sister-in-law as “Princess Kylie.” He then thought of a name that made both him and his brother laugh.
