The Delaware State Police Governor’s Task Force arrested Brandon Tann, a 36-year-old from Wilmington, Delaware, on February 9, 2024. He faces charges of drug distribution and firearm possession. The arrest followed a months-long drug investigation that implicated Tann in drug activities at two residences on New Castle Avenue.
During a search at these residences, detectives found items linking Tann to illegal activities. These included over $1000 in suspected drug money, a loaded .25 caliber handgun, a 12-gauge shotgun with a scope, ammunition, around 11.6 grams of suspected crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.
A background check showed that Tann is not allowed to possess firearms. He was arrested without incident and taken to Troop 2 for further processing.
Tann faces multiple charges. These include possession of a firearm during a felony, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance tier 2 quantity, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2.
