Former Flyer Makes Appearance at Latest Game

The Wells Fargo Center was treated to a surprise appearance from a beloved former Flyer during the Flyers’ matchup against the Arizona Coyotes .

Jakub Voracek, who played in Philadelphia from 2012-2021, is technically part of the Coyotes’ roster, but has been unavailable due to injury.

The Czech forward was in the stands to watch his current and former team play, and received an uproarious ovation from Flyers fans when shown on the Jumbotron.

He reciprocated with the love with a hand heart and a big smile, clearly enjoying his welcome back to the city.

Voracek departed Philadelphia in a trade with the Columbus Blue Jackets that brought Cam Atkinson to the Flyers. In his career in orange and black, he had 604 points (177 goals, 427 assists) in 727 games.
