Surveillance video is giving investigators a closer look at a string of burglaries in South Philadelphia that have left residents and business owners on edge.
Video obtained by NBC10 shows two suspects forcing a door lock and breaking into an apartment building on Fitzwater Street around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, May 10.
Seconds later, the same men are seen stealing two bikes worth more than $800, belonging to Gabriana Whipple and her boyfriend.
“Some of the other residents in the building are concerned about their safety. It’s only a matter of time before they start trying people’s doors in the building, like, trying to get into their apartments,” Whipple said…
