Man wearing court-ordered ankle monitor charged in $2,384 Lululemon theft in Dresher, police say

Lanier James 35, of Philadelphia, is facing charges after investigators say he helped orchestrate the theft of more than $2,300 worth of merchandise from the Lululemon in Upper Dublin Township, according to authorities.

According to an affidavit filed by the Upper Dublin Police Department, the theft occurred around 5:49 p.m. on Nov. 15, 2025.

Police were alerted by a witness who observed a suspect run from the store carrying merchandise and get into the passenger seat of a white Volkswagen SUV parked near the neighboring Ascensus property. The witness followed the SUV along Welsh Road through the parking lots of Hobby Lobby and Walmart, where one occupant removed a blue T-shirt that had been used to cover the vehicle’s license plate…
