Report Names Absolute Worst and Safest Driving Towns in New Jersey

Old Bridge has the worst drivers in New Jersey. Camden claims the safest motorists in the state. These findings come from a new LendingTree report that examined driving incidents per 1,000 drivers across municipalities statewide.

According to New Jersey News 12, researchers analyzed accidents, DUIs, speeding tickets, and citations to determine which towns had the highest and lowest incident rates. Old Bridge recorded 83.3 incidents per 1,000 drivers, edging out Brick at 81.0. Lakewood wasn’t far behind at 79.7.

East Orange ranked fourth worst with 74.0 incidents per 1,000 residents, while Piscataway rounded out the bottom five at 71.0…
