Philadelphia man sent to prison for illegally carrying gun in Horsham

NORRISTOWN — A Philadelphia man faces up to a dozen years in prison after he was found in illegal possession of a gun in Horsham Township.

Samuel Leroy Coleman, 35, of the 2700 block of South 76th Street, was sentenced in Montgomery County Court to 6 to 12 years in a state correctional facility on felony charges of person not to possess a firearm and carrying a firearm without a license and a misdemeanor charge of possession of a weapon in connection with a Jan. 31, 2025, incident in Horsham.
