After more than two decades with the Phoenix Police Department, including service as a commander overseeing training, professional standards and patrol operations, James Ward is beginning a new chapter focused on community security.
Ward joined the Secure Community Network (SCN) on June 15 as community security director for the Greater Phoenix area, where he will lead security and preparedness efforts for the region’s Jewish community in partnership with the Center for Jewish Philanthropy of Greater Phoenix (CJP).
