Good Trouble plans to open at Jefferson House, at 8310 W. Jefferson Street in downtown Peoria, partner Kell Duncan told What Now Phoenix. The bar will serve a shared gathering area surrounded by 10 local businesses.
Duncan, who also owns The Churchill in downtown Phoenix, is developing the project with Stephen Allen and Banquet Hospitality Group’s Lance Linderman, Gavin Linderman, and Micah Bentley. The partners own Good Trouble through Jefferson House LLC.
Gavin Linderman suggested the name Good Trouble, which the partners paired with a black cat mascot. For Duncan, it’s a playful nod to getting into “the good sort of trouble,” fitting the neighborhood bar he hopes to create…
