Gas station stabbing near I-17 in Phoenix leaves man dead

A man was fatally stabbed Saturday at a gas station near Interstate 17 in Phoenix, police said.

At about 8:30 p.m., officers found the man, who has not been identified but was in his 30s, with a stab wound near a gas station at 28th Avenue and Thunderbird Road, Phoenix police said in a news release. The man was taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Officials said detectives were still looking for the person who stabbed the man and no suspects had been detained.
