SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — A Scottsdale man said he was just days away from receiving a lifesaving kidney transplant when he was suddenly removed from the waiting list, a decision that could have life-or-death consequences.
David Pickle told 12News he had been working toward a transplant for years after a shocking diagnosis upended what he described as an active, healthy lifestyle.
