Happy birthday to the United States! This weekend commemorates 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence right here in Pennsylvania. This 4th of July is called the “semiquincentennial,” or “half of 500 years.” Here in Pittsburgh, there are plenty of ways to commemorate Independence Day, as well as loads of non-patriotic family fun, too.
