In the quiet setting of Jefferson Memorial Cemetery, a replica Liberty Bell is on display from Bells Across PA, a Pennsylvania initiative marking America’s 250th birthday.
Local artist Scott Saloney designed the Jefferson Bell, called “Windows Into History,” to represent the historical scenic grounds of the cemetery. The bell will be on display inside the Jefferson Memorial Cemetery Mausoleum until Dec. 31 at 401 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills. Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays.
