The 2026 WPIAL softball playoff field is building with 44 teams having already punched a ticket for the upcoming district playoffs.
The top four teams in each section qualify for the postseason from Class 5A down. In Class 6A, the top six teams clinch a WPIAL playoff berth.
If there is a tie for the final playoff spot in any section, all of the tied teams advance if they split their head-to-head meetings…
