Will Pittsburgh see frost? Freeze watch issued for nearby PA counties

Pittsburgh wasn’t included in a National Weather Service freeze warning for a large swathe of western Pennsylvania the night of Mother’s Day, but the Steel City was still expected to see areas of frost.

A freeze watch was issued for Monday, May 11 evening and Tuesday, May 12 morning for Allegheny’s surrounding counties, coming just a day after many of those counties saw a frost advisory the evening of Mother’s Day into Monday morning. Pittsburgh was not included in either advisory but was expected to still likely to see frost, NWS said.
