If you have yet to visit the newly updated Market Square, Pizzaiolo Primo has a delicious way to become acquainted with it. On Thu., May 14, at 6 p.m., the Downtown restaurant will host a Tour of Veneto Wine Tasting Experience, described in a press release as a four-course dinner that highlights “the flavors of Northeast Italy’s Veneto region.” The curated meal includes a Valpolicella Superiore paired with a charcuterie board; a Rosso paired with mafaldine pasta in a prosciutto, peas, and gorgonzola cream sauce; an Amarone paired with short-rib ragu and tagliatelle; and a Recioto dessert wine paired with chocolate almond-flour cake and raspberries. The meal costs $60, and reservations are required.
