Viva Los Tacos, which was in part of the former space of the Original Hot Dog Shop in Oakland, has reportedly closed after four and a half years in business.
On Monday afternoon, Viva Los Tacos was listed as closed on Yelp and appears to have taken down its website and social media accounts. TribLive was unable to reach the restaurant by phone.
Christopher Briem, a regional economist at the University of Pittsburgh, also posted a photo of the restaurant’s signage being removed on Monday, captioned “O’s revenge.”…
