Pittsburgh’s largest local candy company is getting even bigger.
The big picture: Canonsburg-based Sarris Candies is opening a new factory store and will offer guided factory tours for the first time in the company’s 66-year history.
Zoom in: The new factory store will open June 1 at 135 Meadow Lane in Canonsburg, just a mile down the road from the original shop and ice cream parlor.
- Guided factory tours will start July 6, offering guests a closer look at the candy-making process from an elevated tour route inside the production facility, according to a press release.
